Mein Feedreader hat mich soeben an dreivierfünfmehrere irgendwie ähnliche Projekte aufmerksam gemacht. Das eine, die Floating Logos, hatte ich im Dezember 04 schonmal erwähnt. Daran erinnert wurde ich bei RHO und fand dort auch gleich das Untitled Project und Delete Vienna. Ein paar Feeds weiter lese ich bei sum1 über transparente Werbetafeln von Paul Kalkbrenner, Kasia Kesicka und Streetart(art)isten aus Bordeaux. Ah und sowas gabs auch schon in geeky: Transparent Screens Flickr Pool.

Uff …

99ROOMS ist nicht das neuste Projekt, ich musste sogar schnell das Blog durchsuchen, ich dachte ich hätte das schonmal erwähnt.

What is 99rooms? 99rooms is a unique internet art project that interweaves wall painting, photography, animation and sound in a manner entirely unknown until now.

Und anscheinend ist inzwischen schon 99ROOMS² in Planung.

• Grower

  Grower is a small ‘rover’ vehicle which navigates around the periphery of a room. It hugs the room’s walls and responds to the carbon dioxide levels in the air by actually drawing varying heights of ‘grass’ on the walls in green ink. The Grower robot senses the carbon dioxide (CO2) level in the air via a small digital CO2 sensor. This sensor is mounted high on a wall of the exhibition space and sends data wirelessly to the robot. The number of people in an exhibit space breathing in oxygen and exhaling CO2 has an immediate effect on the sensor. My robot takes a reading of the CO2 level every few seconds and in response it draws a vertical line in green ink on the wall.

Julian Beever macht pavement art / pavement drawings (so prächtige Strassenbilder) und zwar ziemlich Spezielle. Steht man nicht am richtigen Fleck, erkennt man sogut wie nichts.
