Almost two month ago, i posted about the Bookmark Synchronizer Extension for Firefox 1.5. Now i got comments saying “This file doesn’t work with FF 1.5.0.1”, so hum, i gave it a try. And thats the Way it worked for me:

1. At the location bar, enter: about:config. This will show you a list of Firefox internal preferences.
2. Right-click on the list, select New > String
3. Enter “app.extensions.version” (without quotes) for the preference name.
4. Then, enter “1.5” (without quotes) as the value for app.extensions.version.
5. Restart Firefox 1.5.0.1, then enable those disabled Firefox extensions.
6. Restart Firefox 1.5.0.1 again to active the extensions. Done.

I also changed the value of “extensions.lastAppVersion” from 1.5.0.1 to 1.5 (Not necessary)

I hope that works for you too.

Edit: I found these tips on sites about FF 1.2 extensions and thought they may work with 1.5.0.1 too. And so they did, yay.

Web Developer Extension 1.0 has great new features!

Looks like Performancing for Firefox is a great extension for blogger.

There was one extension i really missed for Firefox 1.5. The extensionupdater didnt found find (?!) an update so i started to search on google. I finally found a working extension hosted on a dyndns server, and because i dont know if it will be up the next time i need it, i thought i put the file on my space.
